CSW69 / Beijing+30
The 69th session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) brought together voices from around the world to discuss women’s rights and the urgent need for genuine inclusion — particularly in economic and political spheres.
I was fortunate to take part in it. An intense week, rich in encounters and insights, shaped by renewed commitments around Beijing +30. There was much talk of gender equality, empowerment, leadership, agency for girls and women, and sisterhood…
But one essential question remains:
What space is truly given to women with disabilities in these conversations?
What role are they allowed to play in these major debates about the future?
