Strand for Women at Atelier Jolie

A memorable evening in New York, at Atelier Jolie, for the private presentation of Strand for Women, an art exhibition in support of the #WomanLifeFreedom movements and the struggles of Iranian and Afghan women.
Held in the former studio of Jean-Michel Basquiat, transformed by Angelina Jolie into a space for creation, this event was much more than an exhibition — it was a space for reflection on the power of art as a tool for healing, advocacy, and liberation.

Echoing this message, I made a symbolic gesture: cutting a lock of my hair, as a personal act of freedom and commitment.

Art holds this rare power — it opens new paths, breaks silences, and restores a voice to those too often forgotten.
With this spirit, we will continue to champion artistic expression as a lever for empowerment, especially for women with disabilities.

Thank you to the Cartharsis Foundation, to all those who make these spaces possible, and to Emeline Foster for the invitation.
