E&H LAB

FOREWORD

Grass never grows on the path where everyone threads.

— African proverb

So, I chose a different path.

When I finished my studies and started looking for a job in 2004, I experienced another major shock in my life. The mere mention of being a person with a disability on my resume only led to silence and/or rejection of my applications. After six months, I decided to remove the “disabled” label from my CV, and my phone wouldn’t stop ringing…

Years later, I chose to venture into entrepreneurship, which was, above all, a journey of personal resilience that allowed me to transform an injustice and anger into positive energy. Entrepreneurship opened up the field of creativity; that extra touch of spirit that challenges the obvious and makes the impossible possible. It enabled me to contribute significantly to the cause of inclusion, through a personal and societal commitment.

WHAT DOES E&H LAB STAND FOR?

E stands for Aesthetics

H initially stood for Handicap, then evolved to Human over the years

LAB represents a Laboratory of social experiments, which gave rise to innovative citizen campaigns addressing complex societal issues through co-construction, listening to the field, and developing strategic partnerships…

IN 10 YEARS: 6 awareness campaigns, the trust of 58 clients generating a total revenue of over 2 million euros, 15 full-time employees, around twenty interns, dozens of strategic partnerships… and hundreds of millions of people reached through my high social impact disability campaigns.

E&H LAB combines the qualities of a small agency—mobility, agility—with the expertise and skills of a large communications agency.

— Pascal Andrieux, Director of Social and Societal Engagements at the Malakoff Humanis Group & Managing Director of the Malakoff Humanis Foundation.

At the heart of this business project lies a cause: inclusion, and a deep conviction that the inherent diversity of our humanity is a wealth for society as a whole, one that must be cultivated for the benefit of each individual and all.

E&H LAB stands for:

  • A hybrid economic model with general-interest campaigns that resonate with today’s pressing challenges (employees’ mental health, an inclusive society, image and disability) and a consulting offer tailored for companies and institutions.
  • A core business in communication across three main activities: consulting, content creation, and event management. A dual mission: changing perceptions of disability and promoting the effective integration of diversity and disability within companies.
  • A successful model driving dynamic growth: Over 10 years, E&H LAB has supported a total of 58 clients, generating over €2 million in revenue. Six public interest campaigns, including the latest one, CHAOS on mental health issues, engaged nearly 2,800 participants on-site in just four days, around 13,000 people through social media interactions, and approximately 5,622,000 people over a four-week display campaign across three national cities.
  • A unique and diverse leader who authentically embodies the company’s vision and has built an expertise that transcends her own experience.
  • A proactive and bold stance advocating for a positive view of disability that breaks away from a “classic perspective,” which is often victimizing, stigmatizing, and “normative.”

Among the clients who trusted me:

Malakoff Humanis Group, Nokia, Orange, Transdev, Crédit Agricole, Banque Populaire Foundation, Natixis, Gemey Maybelline Garnier, Les Galeries Lafayette, 3DS Dassault Systèmes, AG2R La Mondiale…

Due to the impacts of the health crisis, among other reasons, I decided to file for bankruptcy and turn the page on this beautiful entrepreneurial adventure.
